Zac Coudret

Concert Orchestra Conductor

Zac Coudret is in his 15th year of teaching orchestra and is fortunate to now work with the amazing students of the Concert Orchestra this year. He also teaches orchestra at Penn High School and adjudicates for Indiana State School Music Association events. Mr. Coudret’s love of music and the love of his family inspire him to teach and share music with his students and the community.

Mr. Coudret has worked with orchestras that have competed in Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) competitions, performed at the Indiana Music Education Association (IMEA) state conference and the National Orchestra Festival that is part of the American String Teachers’ Association (ASTA) National Conference. Mr. Coudret is also a board member of Ensemble: Concept 21, a non-profit new music ensemble with a focus on encouraging and inspiring young composers.

Mr. Coudret graduated from Ball State University in 2010 with a degree in music education. He is thankful for the love and support of his wife and three wonderful children who bring him joy and give him inspiration. Mr. Coudret is also thankful for the support of music in our community from the SBYSO board and all the patrons of this concert.
